My book club decided to go to the midnight show of Harry Potter 7.2 together. Scott not wanting to be left out, decided he would go too. I was really worried that he would feel out of place with all the girls but the night was so fun and he had a great time.
The next evening we went to Chase Field in Phoenix to see a baseball game. Luckily the field is in an indoor stadium so we didn't worry about dying in the scorching heat. We rode the train into the city, we ate hotdogs, and cheered on the D-backs.
Unfortunately the Diamondbacks lost, but that didn't dampen our spirits. It was a really exciting night, and I was glad for the opportunity to spend some quality time with my man.
On our way home we kept getting messages and calls from my family telling us they wanted us to watch a dvd my sister-in-law Rachelle created about our recent family vacation. We found it weird that they were so persistent about having us all watch it together. We got home from the game around 11 pm (midnight Utah time) and threw in the movie. To our surprise, the dvd was a creative way for my brother and his wife to announce they are expecting! This will be the first grand baby born into my side of the family. I am so excited to have a new little niece or nephew.
